    All I know it was something wrong on the hosting end of it, nothing Monse did while storing his large collection of illegal games on the server <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I hear that ns.o is hosted with rackshack.net. Their <a href='http://forum.rackshack.net/' target='_blank'>User Forum</a> has a <a href='http://forum.rackshack.net/showthread.php?threadid=19244' target='_blank'>post saying that they were victim to a network Attack.</a> Doesn't explain why it took so long for the site to come back though <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> .

    But hey, those games are "dead" (not being sold any more) anyways, or are too bloody hard to find in "good" or "fair" condition. Bloody scratches on my X-COM 1 CD...

    Yes indeedy.

    Our provider (RS) were hosed by a major attack over the weekend (started friday evening).

    We, like a good deal of their customers, were knocked out as a consequence.

    Even when they'd dealt with the bulk of the attack, it still meant a good deal of work for the clean up crews
    so even until this afternoon our server wasn't back.

    Early evening saw a lessening of the workload on the busy beavers in RS and they were able to get us back up and running.

    That's the story.. everything else is just rumour.

    Except the thing about Monse's pr0n.. er.. I mean games collection...
