Havok? indeed.
Anyone ever wonder what will happen to the mIRC room and the fourms after the release of NS? I want NS to be popular but dont really want everyone signing up on the fourms due to massive postings. Like take for example the Star Wars Galaxies fourm. If I make a topic, and no one responds to it, it is only litteraly a matter of minutes before it is on page 3 or 4. That is how acitve those fourms are. I remember for Ghost Recon I was hanging around at the ghostrecon.net fourms, after the release of Ghost Recon there were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many topics to keep up with what was going on. I sure hope that NS does not turn into that. Also, I pray that the NS chatroom does not turn into the DOD chatroom (scripts, colors, morons, etc.)

Something that might interest you though... take a look at what is written in a non-hypertext font under "NS Forums" over on the RR.org lefthand menu.

Personally, I wouldn't let it bother you if that's what does happen. More people means more publicity which means more servers and more motivation for the NS team to make a kickass version 2. Havoc can be regarded as a positive thing, and I think that's what needs to be done in this situation.

but i dont see that happen very soon..
Edit: Of course, I'm just speculating/suggesting.
Flayra has a long track record in keeping this community mature, and I'm more than sure that this won't change with v1, on the contrary; add a few more ops and moderators, we all know that there are enough people who're both respected and competent enough to take these positions, and I'm sure that the community won't only grow, it'll also improve.

We have already such a bot. He's called Comprox
[edit] He also posts in the Forums. Pretty fast...[/edit]

When NS comes out, I expect the community may become a little more rowdy, but Im sure the moderators and Ops will be able to handle it. Banning a single person for the good of a community is not a bad thing.
Also, I am a bot as well. I just poke people.
i've noticed that there are certain times no oper is there
thay r all a sleep or something
Though like I mentioned before, the RR Forums will help ease up on the amount of content in one place... and will probably be less crowded than the official forums...
But if they do go back up, I wonder if we'll have to re-register, and if I'll have to beg to get my old post count reinstated: 2.

Me remembers the post count wars with jedisar
I'm not too keen on having to check two different forums every time I want to get up to date though.
