Of coil locking my threads without reading them, well we all know this isnt going to be on for more than 10 minutes but hell it really is irritating. The guy just does not read the thread, posts something completely irrelevent then locks it. I see it happen so often to other people too, infact there was a thread identical to the one Im about to post yesterday? If everyone moans about this insane locking can I really be that blind?

    You can whine at me also, Coil just always beat me to the punch on locking <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> It has been said before, locking can be done for many reasons, too much flaming, insults, gone waaaay off topic, pointless threads (like asking if siege shooting through walls is a bug <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> ), etc. And one thing that makes mods lock certain peoples threads even more....

    Ive personally had no problem with other mods lockings, nor have I seen other mods lock unreasonably. However I must sleep now and let this thread die as Its 4am and Im tired :/ nn all. I feel the past 2 (locked) threads of mine were locked unjustly, make up your own mind. They may seem worthless but theyre topical and can be of SOME use.

    All I can say to this is suggest that (if you haven't already) you PM Coil specifically and simply (+politely) ask why a thread was locked and/or your post edited/removed. I've seen multiple cases of locked threads being re-opened after a little behind-the-scenes polite discussion, and remember one case where a mod actually changed a poster's words back to more or less what they originally were once the poster explained via PM what he meant.

    YOU'RE getting sick and tired?!?! What about ME?! I come here for intelligent conversation and have to wade through piles of locked threads to find something remotely interesting! Sorry, this post just set me off.... Try THINKING before you post and maybe they won't be locked!

    no I feel threads shoudlnt HAVE to be reopened, my threads are all thought out before posted. My concern is that Ive had threads locked and then unlocked. This error, from not reading threads, has only been acknowledged by coil. Who tends to "read the topic" then lock.

    I enjoy the forums as an integral part of the game, and participate in both as often as I can. Instead of slagging the admins from the cheap seats, play by the rules and relax a bit.
