    Theres LOTS of stuff on the web for learning linux.
    As you've seen theres a newbie guide specific to servers webed on this board, so I suggest you read that once you have a clue with linux.
    <a href='http://www.tldp.org' target='_blank'>The linux documentation project</a> -- probably the biggest place for linux docs.
    <a href='http://yolinux.com' target='_blank'>yolinux</a> lots of linux stuff
    <a href='http://dsl.org/cookbook/' target='_blank'>The Linux Cookbook</a> lots of "how to do x with linux" things (e.g. editing images). Doesn't cover installing though.
    <a href='http://newbiedoc.sourceforge.net/' target='_blank'>Newbiedoc - "Intros by newbies for newbies"</a>
    <a href='http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=linux+newbie&all=yes&cs=&cat=Computers%2FSoftware' target='_blank'> more newbie sites</a>
    you can get linux cd images <a href='http://linuxiso.org/' target='_blank'>here.</a>

    Also I suggest you read <a href='http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html' target='_blank'>this</a> (seems to be down. mirror <a href='http://unix.za.net/docs/documentation/smart-questions/smart-questions.html' target='_blank'>here</a>) if you want to ask questions about linux and don't want to get ignored.

    Have fun <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
