r3men4nt:Sorry, I've had no other problems from people. Try it in a new window.

Hesit:Quite a while yet if it goes by anything I gotta do. Lots of coursework, and in a couple of days I'm hoping to start the Engineering hive. So I'd say month. . . maybe 2? IF it did (Big IF) get playtested well I might think of submitting it for v1.2/ 2.0 and if it got accepted there would be no beta. Likely beta in 1 month.

The Opera web broswer has built in zoom. at 260%, you can see the pics (mostly) fine.

shot 1: who mounted monitors onto that door (texture) on the left?
shot 2: pick one color for the main lights. I know folks have been whining about more color contrast (yeah me too) but this is a bit too much.
Is the ceiling flat (skulkable)?
shot 3: ooo, skulk death trap hallway. too many features to climb the walls, none big enough to hide behind. Not a bad thing, just be aware.
shot 4: hmm, maybe a skulk could hide on the ceiling and drop down on some dinner, er, marine.
shot 5: looks fine

Disclaimer: I'm still not a mapper.

Workin for me. Why have you takn these shots with the cl_autohelp on and covering most of the screen.

Shot one looks nice. After the rest followed suit with the autohelp text I gave up.
Take proper screens, get proper replys.

Steve: I'm really busy at the moment. Not too much time I settle for what I can get.

TomCerul:

1) That door texture with the hazard stripes running across the middle is used as a wall in plenty of maps. I'm just making the same use of it.

2) I got told all the blue lighting didn't give enough ambience, was too dark or too bright. So I stuck in the extra few lights and it looked alot better.

3) Yes they are skulkable. I made sure of it.

4) (No Comment)

5) Thankyou

you lot who cant see the pics must be using internet explorer. I dont think it supports .png yet

If IE didn't support png it would download the file instead, but IE does support png so that is not the problem. The problem, instead, is that geocities does not allow off-site linking. So when the new window opens add a space at the end of the URL and hit enter. It should show up.

As far as the map, the screenshots are far too small and dark to make proper C&C

Ollj, the address of that picture(s) shows that it's on the ns forums server (http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/uploads/post-4-1046184084.jpg)

Can anyone get their images hosted here? I thought we had to supply our own image hosting? Am I missing something or do you know the right people?

Cheers Ollij. PNG is supported, probably not by AOL or IE 5.5 and below.

The JPG is a poor reflection :/
