I was wondering if I could get a copy of the old design doc from overmind.org? I'd like to use some material out of it (after your review and approval) for helping in putting together a fansite. That combined with the Forums and the Mapping guidelines should be enough to get me started.
As I asked in forum post, is there a possibility of being a hosted site, or should I examine a separate domain and web structure? How does www.readyroom.org grab ya?<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Hey Edward,
I presume you're MonsieurEvil? I saw your instant message asking for this info but I didn't have time to respond. I'm just finishing up moving, plus I have some other responsibilities this week before getting back into the NS groove.
I'm not sure exactly what I want to do with the "old" design docs and stuff. I haven't looked at them for awhile, so I'm not sure exactly now relevant they all are and whether they are or not, whether they should be out there for public viewing or not. That stuff is pretty ugly, and pretty old. Hmmm...let me think on this a bit longer.
I see that overmind.org is still down, even though the new month has started. Let me get my life in gear and I'll get back to you. If you haven't heard from me in a little bit, definitely pester me again (I'll try not to force you to do that though).
I'd love to host fansites on the NS site but we're just not set up to do that, either bandwidth wise, or account wise. I'd hate to have you spend money to do this, but I'm not sure what viable alternative I have right now.
Readyroom.org sounds awesome to me...I can't believe readyroom.com is taken? That site looks so lame too...<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Yes, it's me MonsE from the boards. I was hoping to use the design doc just as a way to fill in some holes in the BBS where people mention 'things you would know if you read the design doc, you newb' - not as the gospel of NS.
As far as the site goes, I don't mind shelling out a few bucks for a Domain Name and a site. Actually, I might be able to find some web hosting from some buddies for cheap, as long as I don't do download mirroring. I'll see what I can do. I really like the idea of a fansite, as it becomes a way to get the word out, and let's your team focus on the important stuff.
Hmmm.
Thanks for the reply,
MonsE

I love seeing that kind of stuff.
Damn, I can barely believe that it's two weeks since the RR.org started. 8 months... sheesh! NS must have stolen about a year of my life by now!
Jeez, october seems so long ago.
I'm tired and bewildered, feel free to ignore this post.
