<div class="IPBDescription">someone make one :F</div> As many of you may know... sonique looks a lot better than winamp. I'm not mentioning skins, the default skin is a lot better, the whole UI on a whole is a lot sleeker and stylish. So someone make a sonique skin. please.

    because it's prettier. It uses more resources, but everything's contained inside one window. it's a "windowless" interface, unlike winamp's where it pops up lots of windows when you want to see your playlist, etc. (granted, you can't see the song progress while you are looking at the playlist, but ah well.) the visses for sonique (visualizations of music, like the wavey bar) are FAR superior to winamp, too. you can fool with them to have them running in the background of the menus, etc.

    here's a screenshot of me looking at the song info screen while a vis is playing. the buttons in the upper right make you move around the menus/sizes (it has 4 levels of size; big, medium, small bar, and taskbar. here you see big). you can rightclick too.

    Dude, no one's going skin it if they don't like it. Be-sides, just get WinAMP3, and get the MMD3 Skin, and you can put it to WinShade mode. Here's mine.

    /me shudders at winamp3 (and stand the thing, I stick with my 2 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)
    and yes, 2 does shades also <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    hmm, I used sonique when it was first becoming popular, was buggy as every thing.
    I also like my 3 windows (main, mixer, and playlist) The locking ability is well done (windows lock together), and the visuilizations for it just rock so much

    remember, no matter how slick something is (or you think it is) is it dosn't atract people to custimize it, you are not going to have that many <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    (hehe, I am hopping that HL will screw over ut2k3 ;D)

    what you might wana try is to find soniwue's forums, and see if there is a comunity that does skins and such. Post up the ideas (concept art, the media pack etc) and then see what hapens

    or, you could always try doing it your self (use the media pack)
