Yesterday i joined a game(7v7)...both hives were just about finishing(at the same time)... and just about the time the rest of the team got enough to start fading/onosing(since i just joined i had about 4 res) this comes over voice
new guy: "OMG GAMES OVER THEY HAVE JPS AND HMG" me: "yea and we have fades, onos, spores and leap" new guy: "DOEST MATTER JP KILL EVERYTHING WE CANT FIGHT THEM" me: "i hope you are not serious"
well he was and so was the rest of the team except for me and one other person. They managed to let ONE jetpacker kill ALL 3 HIVES!!(even after i leaped him to death his first try)....i was disgusted and promptly opened console and typed quit....uggg
Back in early december, 1.03, game of nancy. I was still rather new.
We had noname, and PER, and had cleared out subspace, however, there was still a siege base in Mother interface with 4 or 5 sieges.
I was gorge...
About 6 fades and a lerk were in there, and they all said BUILD US A D CHAMBER NOW!!!!
I said, no, there is siege out there!
They said, we dun care newb, we want D chamber to heal faster!

I had a hillarious experience playing on Nancy last night. I was on aliens and assaulting the marine base at no name (marines relocated.) The marines all went down very quickly to the combined acid rocket attacks of about four fades. I rush in and start swiping the marines structures while all the marines are dead. I was working on an IP when a marines spawns in front of me. Now instead of immediately attacking me, as I was expecting he would do, the marines proceeds to run <b>literly</b> around me to the armory directly behind me and start filling up on ammo. Never mind that he just brushed by a fade and there were three more of them working on his base, that marine wanted ammo. I just stood there and watched the guy fill up on lmg ammo then switch to pistol and start filling up on that too! After playing a few rounds of ns_eclipse I go Marines and jump into chair.
Me: Alright guys lets get stuff build and head over to eclipse.
Marine: Comm drop me a jet and HMG.
Me: We don't have them we have to research them.
Marine: WTF?! N00b comm we had them before, so give them to me I know you caN.
Me: WE ONLY HAVE ONE IP!?!?

*About 5 minutes pass where the comm does nothing. We eject him, then after a few more minutes*

well he was and so was the rest of the team except for me and one other person. They managed to let ONE jetpacker kill ALL 3 HIVES!!(even after i leaped him to death his first try)....i was disgusted and promptly opened console and typed quit....uggg
We had noname, and PER, and had cleared out subspace, however, there was still a siege base in Mother interface with 4 or 5 sieges.
I was gorge...
About 6 fades and a lerk were in there, and they all said BUILD US A D CHAMBER NOW!!!!
I said, no, there is siege out there!
They said, we dun care newb, we want D chamber to heal faster!

The sad thing is Photon (i realize of course there are many who may use the name) is a regular on that particular server (recognized another player in the pic) and is perhaps one of the most experienced (made the top of the stats sheet one week even with 5 days of playing (as in over 100 hours) in under a month. I hope that he was just pulling your leg.
