Gentoo And The Libstdc++ Error

I installed Gentoo (only took like 6 hours) and when I got hlds goin I got the famous libstdc++ error and I have no clue what I'm supposed to do. Before I downloaded the compat-libs for Redhat but I dont' know if any exist. I have no clue what to ln to so any help would be great.

    emerge lib-compat, that will get you the missing file

    Yea I just found that. Didn't know of the emerge -s feature at the time of the post.

    Glad you got gentoo up and running. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. Admittedly, its not the easiest setup in the world, but with its journaling file system and ability to be highly customized for your use it makes a great gameserver. And the docs/forums at www.gentoo.org are a great help, they'll answer any of your questions.
