with some modifications of course, it is a paintball gun so the feeders and that big thing on the barrell could be taken away if someones feeling ansy and wants to model this that would be dope
i like the pistol... change the animations, so they load a clip into the front part (the clip area before the trigger)... animation is he loads a clip, then twists some knobs on the area where you've got the C02.... then you change the shells to green, and call it a pulse pistol...

too futuristic??? more futuristic than walking around in a space station with mobile powered heavy armor suits being welded by your buddy flying around with his jetpack dodging bile bombs from the alien fades all while your building a mobile particle phase gate???
Personally, I think the pistol jsut looks butt ugly. It doesn't seem to have that "sleek sexy appeal". Of course none of the NS weapons do right now. The pistol was close, but...

I like pistols that have that gritty use-me-to-hammer-ten-inch-nails-in-to-concrete-if-you've-got-nothing-to-shoot look. Went to an ex-military gun-collector's house this past weekend and held a Beretta 92f [he got it before the military closed it to civilians] for the first time. The thing's almost as big as the WW2 M1 Carbine he has.
I might fire it this weekend, along with his .357 Magnum revolver. Gotta go back to fix [almost typed "shoot" there... ] his insane computer.
Anyway, that's just to say that I was surprised by the massive size of the 92f. Couldn't hardly reach the hammer to **** it with my thumb. Heavy as all hell. Barely get my fingers around it. Makes me think I have a small hand. Also makes me think that most game pistols are under-sized compared to their real-life counterparts. My SVI, for example [okay, it's Elindred's and Warbeast's, but I personalized it], should probably be doubled in size compared to the hand that holds it!
The NS pistol is on the right track for size, though. As much as it doesn't suit my personal tastes, it does look realistically large [what's the second barrel for again?].
This paintball thing, though, as Blue said, does look like it's from a low-budget sci-fi flic. Ever notice how we -never- see them remove the battery/clip from their pistols in Farscape? They always have some clever means of hiding it without looking like they're hiding it, because it's nothing but a solid hunk of plastic. That's what this gun looks like, but chromed.
As for the bullpup, I like very few bullpup rifles. The only one that comes to mind is Britain's latest version of their modular infantry rifle.
Bullpup rifles are superior to the old design because the bullets are fired from farther back in the barrel it acheives greater accuracy in a more compact design. And it doesn't look bad, either, unless you're talking about the AUG. Personally I think the default pistol model feels too much like a toy because of the ridiulously small grip and magazine attached to the HUGE barrel. Also it's ugly; I want something like Counter-Strike's USP, but I can't port it from there because I'm one of those meticulously careful people who won't accept his USP without the GOD DAMN DAEMON 31337 ARMS to match!!! Also why I didn't download that other NS pistol that I forgot the name of already. You do have small hands; I've handled a Beretta M92F, and it's nothing compared to the Desert Eagle (that thing'll give you one hell of an arm cramp!)...
EDIT: I hate that paintball gun, but the SAR is pretty damn close to my idea of a perfect LMG. Only thing is, it's a real gun and it doesn't feel right to be holding an antique on an anti-alien op...

anyway, i just got back from watching "the recruit" i liked that Aug she was working on... liked the Glock he had (wasn't that the 18?)... and i'm totally confused what gun you see at the end( not the mp5s, the VERY first guy that you see has a nice looking one, first impression reminds me of a mortia)
i honestly liked the paintball gun, but then again, i'm a little messed up in the head, ohh well, it's also 2 am, might as well go to sleep, nobody's really on at this time of the night....
but anyway, i will add this gun on the list of my current projects.... it'll be a few months, gimme a few weeks/months to get as good as hackjobing guns as =DD=
... ohh and to save space sorry for not using PM, but it's not that important... Kahler, if your reading this, i've got a new Avatar i made for you....it looks like mine, but it's got =DD= and not T2K, and it's also got the exact colors as the current marine theme. let me know if you wanna take a look at it.... i made it because your somone that has earned my respect...everyone's on a clean slate, and you can go up, or down, Kahler was the first to go up....
However, my avatar is my rank in the =DirtyDozen=, positioned as it is on our forums. I can't have either of the sig images I use there on these boards, though, so I use what I can out of loyalty to all our boys who mostly deserve respect more than me.
No, we get our names from actors and other crew members who took part in the movies and TV series/movies dedicated to the real WW2 "Dirty Dozen" [HQ Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, "The Screaming Eagles"--in Vietnam, a group of bomber pilots called themselves the same]. My actor played Dietrich in Raiders of the Lost Arc [one of those German military guys, fairly young and strapping]. He also played "Dietrich" in a Dirty Dozen movie, if I recall correctly... Some WW2 movie or other.
