Do Not Play On Khabal Servers

<div class="IPBDescription">coz they suck</div> these servers are in singapore apparently and they are the closest to me in the middle east so they give me the best ping but once things get busy the pings go up to ridiculous levels coz apparently these servers are really weak. when i start out in an NS game i get about 150 ping and it steadily increases over several minutes to everyone getting over 700 ping before i just can't take it anymore and quit. everyone is teleporting around at that time it's impossible to hit anything. it got pretty bad in a TFC game as well when the action heated up although the ping wasn't as high but the teleporting problem was still there. so i play on american servers all the time now and get a kind of steady 250-350 ping. i recommend all singaporeans do the same and shun khabal servers and go to american servers because khabal is really giving you a raw deal. they are a disgrace and an insult to NS and other games and should be banned from hosting games. and btw they sometimes accidentally turn off footsteps and flashlight from the games on their servers.

    yes there is a reason. i am a philanthropist so that means i want to spare people from going through the same pain as me, so when i find something bad i warn the others about it.

    but these poor singaporeans are playing with pings of 700 and maybe higher and they don't know they are meant to have better. have a heart !

    actually it's not just singaporeans. if i'm near Saudi Arabia you can imagine there are loads of people in a huge region of the world falling into the trap of going to khabal servers because the pre-game ping is the lowest for them yet the ingame the ping is the worst they can get in the world.

    Philanthropist, eh? That's generally a term applied to those lovingly embracing the whole of humanity and dedicating their lives to the betterment of mankind, yes? I am not sure that knowing a server on the other side of the world has a weak CPU and not enough ram will make me sleep better. You are badmouthing people who created a free server for your enjoyment, expecting nothing in return. If you truly had the betterment of humanity in mind (I know I am taking this too far as you clearly misused the term, but I am feeling pedantic today), you would make a donation to the server's admin or contact him or her and inform of specific problems you've encountered, suggesting possible solutions.

    Ehh... Singapore NS servers aren't really that good. The pings get really ridiculous when the player load reaches the limit. I play in Aussie servers more myself, the pings are still way better than any singapore server I know. And I am from singapore.

    providing something for free that is crap can be worse than providing nothing. for example, say someone sneezes and asks you for a tissue or something to wipe their nose. if all you have is a piece of toilet paper that you just started using as such then would it be better for you to say you have nothing or to give them that toilet paper?

    You see, your example is flawed in that a slow server will not give you a severe infection and hopefully your face will remain clean.

    Im a singaporean player and khabal servers are notorious for lags.

    It doesnt get any better,the pagn.net servers allow people to come in and harras players because "they deserve it".

    Don’t try and come up with metaphors for any body can twist it around to make them sound right what you used as a metaphor describes a person being a basted
    Which the person is providing the service (yes it is a service not a good one but it is still a service) and you are making him sound like a basted with that metaphor. Which I seriously doubt that he will be laughing at the “poor suckers” that join the server.

    The is no excuse for bad mouthing a server at all on these forums

    if i was Flayra i would ban Khabal from having NS on their servers coz it makes the game really annoying, and gives people a bad experience and a bad impression of NS and it's like khabal is committing defamation of character but against NS instead of a person.

    But this happens in every other mod or game what makes it unique for NS (yes I know NS has higher CPU req then other mods under HL)

    It has been stated before in this forum not to bag other peoples servers for any reason <b>full stop end of story</b>
