Admin Mod Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">HELP!!!</div> is there any special way to install admin mod for NS? I can't get it to work...... Can some1 please what I have to do different than installing it for CS? Plz leave ur AIM or you can just msg me on AIM at independent565

if you're running linux then you *might* need to install the special compiles found in the pinned area of server and server operators

I run AM on a Windows box. I didn't have to do anything special. You might try manually installing it if you are having troubles with the install script. Could you be more specific about the problem you're having. I don't have AIM.

Admin mod works fine on windows machines...I have no problems

Maybe if your folders are a little junky from time, reinstall a copy of HLDS and a fresh NS install

Then make sure you have the updated Admin Mod (No problems with 2.50.50)

- Unzip admin mod to a directory somewhere, then use the install_admin.vbs and follow the instructions on the screen.
**It should find the dir of your installed HLDS (you should click *NO* to install to HLDS)
**Then you just type "ns" when it askes for game mod.
**Everything will be done for you. Enjoy!

You guys should really update AM to 2.50.51. That update fixes a rather nasty exploit.

But anyway, you can get me on MSN too: mynameismathyou@hotmail.com. I hate AOL. I suppose I shouldn't support MS either, but all my friends use it. Ner. And really, one has to have *some* IM client. AOL owns AOLIM and ICQ. YahooIM is marginal. That leaves you with MSN. Trillian is just a different client. I think any philosophical objection to a company should extend to its network, not just its client. But I digress...
