Sounds Are Delayed About 3 Seconds

<div class="IPBDescription">Other mods work fine, but not NS</div> When I try to play NS, the sounds are off about 3 seconds (when I shoot the gun, no sounds come out until later). I've tried CS, TFC, and other mods and the sounds work fine. Any idea what the problem is?

EDIT: I reinstalled NS and the sounds worked fine. However, after running NS for the second time after that installation, the sounds went back the 3 second delay thing.
