    yeah, most ppl (at least here in iceland) think 1,4 sucks. I have not played it yet so I cant tell what i think, and guess why, the ####### install program is all bugged!

    Nah, I happen to like the gameplay changes introduced in 1.4.  There are a few small technical issues, though.  For example, I don't get any sound until I actually start a game (no menu sounds), and further, the menus aren't as fast as they used to be.  Second, half the time I try to quit, my computer crashes, forcing me to reboot.

    Despite these, the actual game runs perfectly.

    It's not going down. Even if there are complaints about the new CS, doesn't mean they won't stop playing it. I still play it... I actually I like the new CS. Except the jumping issue, and the COLT/AUG cheapness going around.

    CS has something like 15000 people playing at all times on dedicated servers(average 3000+ servers, each with a minimum of 5 people).  That is alot of people to convert to NS....bwhahahahahha.

    first of all, all teh pepel that are complaining about CS are the people that had to bunny hop and speed walk to be an good.  second of all, these people did the same thing when 1.2 and 1.3 came out.  They did a petition, then they realized that "oh crap, um..we suck cuz we havent been playing" and started playing and realized that they had no reason to complain.  Thirdly, im doubting that peeps tho like CS are going to be lured over to NS simply because was dying..  they would go to TFC or something along those lines.  NS already has a huge following right here at teh forums, and once it gets out im sure that it will do just fine.  besides, NS is more like DOD and FA than it is like CS.

    Well, all I have got to say is..I don't want too many people playing NS when it firsts releases..I'd like the first release to just be our happy little community. So that the community can continue to grow and be a healthy, llama-free, Lamer-free community where Newbies do not feel afraid to ask questions nor speak in 'l33t'.

    Alright, this is my last comment on CS, because I hate it...

    Agreed, from the first time someone did it, it took a lot of skill, and demanded awe from all who witnessed it. That all stopped, and it became lame the first time someone wrote a script to do it. From then on, it was lame, and llamaish.
