Man, the mechanism that accepts avatars is kinda stingy. What's the deal? Are there some requirements for avatars?

    no theres not just a pixel constraint. theres a byte constraint. i see guys with 5kb and 8kb avatars but I can't even upload a 3kb one. if they are a special case, fine but i'd like to know what my limit is.

    if I remember correctly you can't upload anything. Put the Avatar on your website and link to it, sorry!

    Well, technically I was only half right but not wrong there's probably a limit to the size of if you want to upload an avatar, but you can just freely do it at <a href='http://www.imahosting.com' target='_blank'>http://www.imahosting.com</a>

    i had that problem too... try saving your avatar as a few different file types and keep trying till you find one that will upload. Sometimes i noticed it wont upload right even if it meets the requirements and is the right filetype.
