Give readyroom.org a new logo

I think you should not just cover the whole thing in red, but leave the text and the hive the way they normally are, and just put in red in the background. but that might not fit in, i like it the way it is.

As for the rest of them, they are all really awsome, great photoshop work guys.

Here's an idea... Why not have ALL of them, and just have it randomized? I know that the randomize-image thing in Javascript is pretty easy to code...

Sorry, but I want to keep the main page fast and low-bandwidth. Modem users don't appreciate it too much when you make them reload images too often, and neither does my wallet. I already use up over 20GB a month in transfer.

lol high - i told him to make that and send it in - didnt know he would.  Anyway I just LOVE fams 2nd logo (the one w/ the lvl5 and no sentries) and I love doctopepa's first logo, not the one that is all red.  If I had to pick I would pick doctopepa's becuase the hive looks so good and it just adds a refreshing color change to the rr.org site

all are really great work but i think most of them have to much..... red. The uones having marines at left(or right) and aliens on right(or left) should try to do a mixture between marine colors and alien colors. i mean, in this pics, make from left to right(or viceversa) a change color between red and green(hive color) or well something like that.

Well, the logos are supposed to fit the red-blackish layout of RR.org, so there is not too much space for green etc...

Yes, I did try putting blue pipes for the marines and green slime for the aliens and, well, it just looked ugly. Im not a huge fan of red, but the main criteria is that it fits, and therfore red is going to be a large part of the design.

Else than just taking to much bandwith, I don't think you should have more than one logo simply because you're supposed to be able to identify the readyroom.org with the same logo.

It's a shame, but fact remains it's only room for one logo. I would love to see these logos on other (NS-related) webpages though.

That happened as an accident. I was messing around with loading colour palletes and my image got screwed up, giving it an orange/red hue. I cut a bit out, messed with it, and.. well, the rest is history as they say.

Tzarcon, I think the background is lovely, but I do think you need to do something about the font to make it perfect.
How would it look if you made the fill more red?

P.S. I've been working some on my silly flash, mostly to make the flash stop playing after it's gone through once, plus fixing the timing on some of the events. I was going to upload it until things started to crash on me, wrecking all the files I could work with. So basically I would have to start all over again if I wanted to correct some minor irritating things in my flash.

There, I fixed it up a bit. I managed to make the gun alot smaller, and made the text stand out more by moving it and increasing the stroke brightness.
