<i>Note: I realize these guys are all in the same pose. Yes, I know. But I meant for them to be. I find the pose to be a good concept pose, as it gives you a nice view of a couple sides of the character.</i>

The style you see above is one of a few. Some soldiers choose not to wear the shinguards and not to roll up their sleeves. I will post a few more of the styles some time, but not right now. Some soldiers choose to tuck in their flak jacket, but this usually isn't done.

Confederates: Definitely some of the German's soldiers, as well as AvP2 marines (the shinguards and rolled-up sleeves, the boots), Confederates in Civil war (these Confederates ALSO wear grey), Final Fantasy movie marines (the vest), Doomguy (helmet), and American Rangers in WW2 (The ankle socks, etc.)
Draconrans: Russians (coats), Nod Soldiers from Command and Conquer (the Draconran colors: Black and red), P90 and Steyr Aug (their rifles), the same vest inspiration.
