Help! It's Still Default!

<div class="IPBDescription">how do i change it, what's going on?</div> I did a p_model change of the shotgun, and when I played the game, the normal shotty popped up!
Where the heck did it come from? Flaya, are you praying to the dark lork again? Sweet Jebus, someone help meeeeeeeeeeee

Did you replace the original p_model? If you did, I've got absolutely no idea what went wrong, maybe something server-side?

Yeah, completly replaced
how can server do that?
I looked for hidden dlls, and pak files, but no dice.
I did notice that the executable is a megabyte larger than normal.

That's the thing, I'm pretty sure a server can't do anything like that. I'm stumped..

the P_ models are the models you see other people holding, not the model your holding.

The correct file name for the weapon you hold always starts with a V_

for example, v_hg.mdl is the view model for the hand gun

P_ = Player (what you see another player holding)
V_ = View (what you see when you hold a weapon)
W_ = World (on the ground)

I know I know, I looked at the other guy, and low and behold... the standard shotgun!
I got the lmg replacement from aliens, and it works fine, but not my shotty...

Ah .. I see, I guess I just misunderstood your question.

Only think I can suggest is to make sure the file is named correctly.

It should be p_shotgun.mdl

other then that ... try downloading it again ..

it was p_sg.mdl
