    Lights up alien teammates and structures, so you know where they are in dark corners or if theyre cloaked.
    And if you have advanced hivesight ability, then marines and marine structures glow.

    If you have the alien flashlight on while cloaked it will make you partially visible to marines.

    For those who think Advanced Hivesight is useless it is definitely not. Today I was playing on HERA and all but two marines were able to escape the base under the mass confusion of alien attack and find somewhere to hide. I quickly got Advanced Hivesight and went searching. None of my alien teammates could find them but I easily did with flashlight key enabled. It was funny because the two marines saw me and I saw them but they didn't expect me to see them. Instead of quickly killing me they just sat there expecting not to be seen.     advanced hive sight gives me a headache when i go in a marine base. i couldn't tell what was what when i went in there. its not for attacking definatly, its more for searching like the dude above said
