<div class="IPBDescription">Givwe fellow players equal respect</div> Here is a scenario that has become quite common for me: I join marines, go commander, and start using my voice mic to give a few orders. However, the people on my team say "Im not gonna be ordered around by no ******* 13 year old!" Even a little "Guys! There attacking our resource nozzle at the sputh loop" wont get much notice. Granted i am only 13, but im sick of getting 0 respect just becuse of my age- just becuse your older does not make you a better ns player. I am forced to slowly type, and turst me you cant be a good comm while typing out orders slowly. People constantly wont give me any notice, even when i give it my all to help the team. And the worst thing? Gettign booted out of commander just becuse your a "little n00b", even though your actuall commanding job was fine, or everyone whining "dont let the little kid go gorge, he will screw everyhting up" even though they have never even seen me gorge. Why cant we respect everyone? Why shoudl we care if the commander is 13, 33, or even 83, if he/she can command well, why should we care? I notice this alot more in ns then in any other HL mod as well. Respect others, and enjoy the game. Dont ruin someone elses just becuse of a high pitched voice.

To tell you the truth...other than the high pitched squeal younger kids have I find that the older kids are more of a prob. The ones from 15-19 tend to be more disrepectful and mouthy. I guess its that "something to prove" thing or whatever. I may mute a younger kid because of his/her hi pitched voice but that is only because such sounds are painful. It isnt necessarily because I dont want follow orders or whatever, its just that the damn noise hurts my old ears. Now this isnt to say that there isnt a fair share of young kids(14 or younger) or old fogies(25 and up) that arent buttheads...its just that there seem to be a great great great great great many in the 15-19 year age bracket.

i have a good mic but due to laggy servers, it sometimes breaks up completely and no-one can understand wtf im saying...
and im one of them people that hate the sound of my own voice but in a game of ns cannot stop talking....so it sounds like this:

AARGH SHII----bzzzzzz-ONOS IN BAS--bzzzzzz-OH MY GOD-bzzzz- 5 ONOS! GET HERE-bzzz-N-bzz-OW!..

also, i will only give respect to players if they earn it through good play or not being a total twat...goes for aliens or marines...(mainly gorge or commander,)

i dont particulary care if the commander is 13...i care if he isnt doing his job properly...
