I would like to have some server ips though. Due to my firewall, I can't update for new severs very well.

I keep getting, scanner resources too high, saving resources for registed users all the time and no servers are popping up.

I dont htink im going to pay 10 dollars for that ether. I worked once and thats it. All the servers were 9999 ping too....

You gotta configure it properly mate!
First of all put on some filters (open up some menus from the navigation at left)
Then be sure to press the NS logo (and mark up 1.03 if you want to play newest on the moment)
Don't be too greedy with the ping filter tho, as VERY rarely there are servers with 50 max. pings <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
The "saving resources for registered users" is just cos you haven't registered, just like 60% of us haven't, so you just press No when its trying to make you buy it!

Just try random IP addresses. How many can there be? Eventually you will find an NS server.

Or try 127.0.0.1 - you will probably find someone playing NS at that address pretty much every time.
