    That's pretty good.  I consider myself to be a Paint god as well, mostly because I have the patience to deal with an image pixel-by-pixel.  Ridiculous attention to detail is really all it takes to produce something like <a href="http://www.rpi.edu/~goetzm/gridmstr.jpg" target="_blank">this.</a>  It's a shot from a VB game I made a while back.

    Heh, thanks.  <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->  I actually created a template bitmap showing something like 20 different "levels" of brightness in greatly contrasting colors, then filled them all in pixel-by-pixel.

    heh, Im also quite good with pixel-per-pixel stuff, I have the Games Factory you know...

    And, the pic I posted was entierly made with the largest brush in paint. (the round one)

    I might do more sometime. Its just that im mapping, go to school, live in a family of 5 (with 1 computer) and have homework n' stuff...

    Shadows come completely from my brain, but I kept a screenshot of the builder in a little window right next to paint so I wouldnt do any mistakes... I dont usually memorize slimy, hidious aliens. Might make their way to my nightmares you know...

    Damn, that's some fine paint-age there! Both pudgy and blinky are lookin' mightay fine, and the tongue oh the level 4's... thing is hilarious <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> But not nearly as fine as pudgy [old pimpage] [url=http://www.thelag.net/cgi-bin/hosting/web_pages/Jacius/images/temp/level2life5.jpg]could[/img] [/pimp] =)

    Jed, the second/third pic (the only difference I saw was the background between his teeth) looks better than the first, and I love the cool clouds and moon, but it doesn't look very NS-ish... the first one looks like the xenomorph from Aliens, and the second one looks kinda like a big lizard guy. They're definitely better than a lot of people's paints, tho.

    Complimenting it any more would be treachery to the king <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->
