Hi there, just getting into modeling and I figured I would share with you what ive come up with so far.
It would be a replacement for the hmg, I was inspired by Jesse Ventura's GAU-17 minigun <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> from the movie Predator. Whats good for "The Body" is good for the soul I always say ;-)
I hope you will let me know what you think about it.

I like how it looks sort of stubby. Reminds me of the Q3F minigun.
its actually quite stubby and small
smaller than what i thought it would be like anyway
I have read that his was a highly customized GAU-17 minigun which is almost exclusively mounted on Helicopters.
BTW miniguns are manufactured by General Electric. Gives a whole new meaning to their slogan:
"We bring good things to life". <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
and surge is right, the army tried hand held miniguns after predator but determined they are too heavy and have too much kick back force.
