are there going to be attacking animations for next beta such as onos instead of just them standing there they actually swing their tusk around or something?

The same needs to be true for the skulk. I find many of the player models to be poorly animated or have odd animation bugs. This is rather odd, given the overall quality of the game. Just my two cents.
Yes they are made but not on. I wish they were on as its wierd to see a skulk running around makig bite noises but you dont see his mouth moving. same with onos. I would like to see that launcher thign on the fade instead of them swinging their claws throwing them, its just a bit wierd.

Yeah, the player animations is one of the biggest visual aspects of the game that still needs a lot of work. The animators did a great job with all the animations, but most of the anims don't play quite right or at all, do to various issues which we are exploring.
The problem is that the halflife engine handles bipeds fine, but quadrapeds are a whole other thing that causes loads of problems. We put in a lot of time at the end of the project trying to get the attacks working, but unfortunatley we were unable to get that straightened away before release.
