Alright first of all i'm gonna teach about weapons:

Light machine gun:(aka LMG) A primary gun that all marines start out with, it has good accuracy, and a good rate of fire. It does 10 damage per bullet (i think).it can carry 50 bullets per clip and you can keep a maximum of 6 clips or 300 ammo.

Pistol: All marines get this secondary gun. This has high accuracy (better then primaries) but has short clips and ammo. it does 20 damage per bullet. you can carry 10 ammo in one clip and you can carry a max of 4 clips or 40 ammo.

Knife: Only if you're really desperate or if you don't wanna waste ammo (all marines start out with this one) and cannot be dropped. does 30 damage per slash. oh yeah and knife is a melee weapon so don't be dumb and try knifng an alien from range.(duh!)

Welder: Not really a weapon, but can be used as one. This mini-flamthrower is used to repair teamates armour , light or heavy. it can be used to repair buildings also, and burn those nasty alien webs. All alien buildings are very weak against fire, and a welder can do a lot of damage so fast, no ammo wasted.One last thing it can do is weld weldable objects. if you see a yellow sign that looks like a cross over fire or sutmhing, that means it's weldable. weldable objects include opening/closing vents, openinig/closing doors, and some other stuff. (on ns_tanith there's a weldable spot which activates the laser tower)

Shotgun: a very good weapon, it is very strong but can only be useful at close range. it cannot hit enemies a long range. this is a very useful weapon for fast moving aliens, and close encounters. shotguns can carry 16 ammo per clip and can carry 4 or 5 clips or 48 or 64 bullets/ammo.

Mines: Mines are high explosives that explode when an alien crosses the red laser beam or when they step on it. mines do not trigger when marines cross it or step on it, but the explosion will hurt you and teamates. Mines panted in 2 ways: Tripwire and landmine. Trip wire works when you plant the mine on the wall or ceiling. landmines works when you plant it on the floor/ground. mariens use these to kill aliens or to keep em away.Each individual gets 5 mines.(dunno maximum can carry)

Heavy machine gun: (aka HMG) This big heavy gun is an alien killer or a friend of a marine. It carries a whopping 150 ammo per clip and can carry 3 clips or 400 ammo. it has Bad accuacy and has a realy fast rate of fire, chomping down ammo fast. i dunno how much damage per bullets.Oh yeah this has a Long reload time and becuase of this gun's heavy weight, your speed will slow down by some.

Grenade launcher: The best friend of a marine and a mass destruction weapon, it does a whopping 100 damage and double aginst alien structures. it carries 4 grenades per clip and i dunno about the max. grenades explode on DIRECT contact on an alien, or explodes after 4 seconds. this is a heavy gun so it'll slow you down.

the cost of the weapons:

Light machine gun cost Nothing! (cause you start out with this)
Pistol cost nothing! (cause you start with this weapon)
ANd knife cost Notihng! (you know why....)
oh and you can't get these weapons back unlless you pick one up by a fallen soldier.

Welder cost 10 rp.
Shotgun cost 20 rp.
Mines cost 8 rp.
Heavy machine gun cost 25 or 30 rp.
And grenade launcher cost about 35 or sumthing.
