Why did they Use the Half Life engine?, was it cause its easyer to program then UT or q3 engine?? or because Half Life has the Largest user base ?
I'm impressed they got such a mod out at all. Simply incredible!
Or at the least, DoD should be hitting it first, popularity-wise...
But after the CS retail, everyone got a HL engine that would run any HL mod... why buy another one when you could download for free legally?
serioulsy after how disapointing retail cs was nobody will prolly get retail ns.

Um incase u did not notice... CS RETAIL includes the dam HL engine and just comes in its own folder basicly instead of being stuffed into the half life folder so it can use mods -_- why would it go retail in the first place? ***slaps himself***

the reason they changed all the names of the guns(deagle-nighthawk) is because they can't sell a product using the trademarked names of the weapons
and how many public betas were there before 1.0? The first post was comparing the time in development of the two mods, not the versions.
