Ns Dedicated Install

<div class="IPBDescription">Install fail wrong version.</div> This is for a dedicated server. I have several other flavor HL mod servers up an have not had any trouble.


Im trying to install NS and Im getting an error message. The message is that I dont have the correct version and that is need HL 1.1.1.0 or retail 1.3.

What I have is Hlserver4110 and am trying to install ns_install_v1.

Anyhelp would be great, and if Im missing a file please post a link to it.

    It's a bug in the NS installer, but it's easy to get around.

    Just grab the (1.1.1.0) EXE from your gaming rig's Half-Life folder (hl.exe) and stick it in the HLDS folder on your server. NS will now install without complaint.

    you've installed the hlserver but you're trying to trying to install the wrong NS. That file you have is for clients.. there is one just for servers

    nsserver+
    1.03 patch
