<div class="IPBDescription">A map name query</div> Can't think of a better place to ask this, and couldn't find a thread on it elsewhere, so figured what the heck.
Why are the map names what they are? Presumably Bast, Tanith, Nancy, et al are the names of the stations that the action takes place in, but is this true for all? Is Nothing called Nothing because nobody could think of a name?
Is there a backstory to these?

There once was a mapper for Counter-Strike that went by the name of "N0thing". He made the map CS_DOCKS, him and his brother (Euro*Brew) both worked on dev team stuff together. Later after he completed some of his work on CS, (and sadly) he commited suicide. Maybe this NS_Nothing is a tribute to a fallen mapper friend?
Mappers argue alot, but we honestly do get along well. I know I would do this for one of my pals if something unfortunate would have happened.
No disrespect to the family and friends of N0thing. Just my 2cents of where this name came from.
for some reason i dont feel like joking about mapnames anymore...
