My save disappeared

Okay, so, this is what happened.
I stopped playing Subnautica because it was getting late and had to go to bed, I saved the game, and I turned off my laptop (by holding the off button, which I know can be dangerous, because if I don't do that the computer turns on in the middle of the night). Next day, POOF. My save disappeared. Nowhere to be seen. I had my other saves, but this one just wasn't there anymore. I tried looking for a fix to this. I tried the appdata folder method and it didn't work. Help? Anyone???
