In my seabase which already has a bioreactor. I have concerns about power comsumption of my water filters and I was wondering if it was still sustainable to live on just 1 machine.

It's perfectly sustainable if you keep in mind that salt can be converted to water too.

In fact you can get almost 2.5 times more water from salt than from filtered water production.

If you sleep on occasion it helps. Time still passes and so your filtration machine keeps working while you don't lose hydration levels while resting. Over time you'll end up with a backup stock.
