Is it possible to have different kind windows for habitats and compartements?

-Smaller windows like 1/3 of the actual window height.

-Strengthened windows, with metal frames.

Such large window bay make feel not safe when we know some real submarine projects habitats have been aborded because of such feature, especially because they are restricted to close top sea purpose and not for deep sea, because of high water pressure like it could often be the case in Subnautica.

There is also the feeling that if you can easily see everything outsite of the habitat, the outside can also see you. And could eventually attack and damage the window bay.

Would be nice to see a one way window but then there would have to be avatar customization though there could be a screen or a type of blinds that can be extended.

Sort of. You can put Windows on any side of a compartment (ends, bottom, top, and, of course, where everyone puts them, the sides) -- the exception is the MultiPurpose Room, of course.

I don't see the point of smaller windows. Reinforced windows could be useful, to spare us having to have a bunch of windowless rooms for the extra HP.

You totally missed the psychological point quoted above. Also such large windows like in the game are totally unrealistic for technical constraints.
