Will the "corrupted" databank entry ever be adjusted or addressed?

Try not to @ Devs over things like this.

But yes, this is clearly lore.

    Sorry

But if it has no practical use, can't be decoded and (as far as we know) has no bearing on the game at all... why is it there? :confounded:

Game's not done yet, bro. Could be revealed after 1.0 or something. (or maybe you knew that and were just being silly, idk i'm tired)

    Hmm...

Thanks for the response, at least!

What I tried to imply earlier was that this terminal is simply giving corrupted data, because something broke. We lack the parts for repairs on the Aurora, other than sealing the radiation leaks, so there probably isn't a way to ever retrieve the data.

Like the shuttlebugs, this is "flavor". It doesn't add anything specific to gameplay, just makes up part of the game world.

    What's Star Trek?...

Why do you have an old style England police box for your avatar? Are you some sort of history buff?

    :)

It's a TARDIS from Doctor Who.
    Maybe start watching more shows?

I'm sorry... I really LoL'd when that pic came up.

Obviously, sarcasm is wasted on the not-so-well-informed.

Another fine example that proves our poor PDA, is a few data-points short of a complete circuit.

Made me think, maybe our PDA was corrupted and that data log is displayed from the PDA internal files upon running a string of commands.

By the way, I feel like the PDA seems to be running Java Version 27394.

LOL. Java (in the browser) is almost dead and Flash shortly after. Thankfully!
