Possible bug with base building?

I came back from the island place on my save and my base was invisible except for wall lockers that were just floating in place, and I couldn't place down new base pieces. When I select it from the menu nothing happens. The menu just closes. This only happens with actual base pieces though, like the foundation and tubes and stuff. Things that attach to them like the hatches and lockers work. When I select those items their 3d preview thing shows up, though I can't place them since there's no base walls. However, with the problem pieces even when I click on them, the 3d preview thing doesn't show up. It's like I didn't even click on it and instead just exited the menu. I tried closing and reopening the save, and I even tried creating a new save and that doesn't work either. I ran a steam file validation check and nothing was wrong with that.

Here's my save folder in case you need it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nmo73gdrgmd33ep/SavedGames.zip?dl=0

You really need to specify whether or not you are using the Experimental or Stable build, and which #. If nothing else, it'll let people know if they should bother downloading your file.

    The top right says

    June 2017 50032

I haven't opted in for an experimental build so I assume this is a stable build.

That is indeed stable, so I won't be able to reproduce the bug myself. Someone else here should be able to help you, though.

    Slacker. :-)

Just install the other version on one of your other computers. :)

    (Just kidding, of course.)

I appreciate all your bug reports.

So for some reason when I got on after I woke up the base was back and I could build again. I'm not sure what happened since I didn't do anything.

I'm guessing the game hadn't properly loaded some files, and the next time you opened the game it loaded them properly. 90% of tech support is turn the thing off, wait 20-30 seconds, then turn it back on. :) Closing the game is not always enough, since sometimes files like to stay in memory, so shut down or restart the pc. By the way, on Windows 10, do a restart; shutdown keeps everything loaded on a file for quick startup.
