also, are there any plans to make new aliens or marine upgrades? Maybe a whole new race? I think that'd be cool and i realize its a long way off if it ever does happen but is it planned?

I highly doubt the devs adding an entire new race... it just wouldn't work out. Maybe new upgrade, but it's balanced as it is.
