Moonpool mergeable

Hi, I was thinking about having a moonpool where i can park both my seamoth and my prawn but instead of adding a new room, debris, etc ..
Why not add the possibility for the moonpool to merge with a second one (or even more), just like the multipurpose room.

We would have either a very large pool, obviously only suited if only two moonpool merged.
But it would be easier/better to have the same actual pool with the floor repeated by the number of moonpool merged; So we can still walk around every pool, and access every subs by each sides.

What do you think ?

Sounds good. Kinda like the moonpool on the rig in The Abyss - that one could handle two active submersibles and still have room left over. I would suggest, though, that the merge-on moonpool require more robust materials and produce a very significant base integrity hit; rooms that large with flat walls are a pressure liability and a half, so the game should reflect that.

Even so, heck yeah I'd build one.

Not a bad idea at all. But I dont think it should include a penalty in base integrity

I agree with @EstebanLB01 , it is already a -5 hull integrity by moonpool.
Plus the fact that you lost 2 walls in every moonpool you merged, and an optinal one for every modification station.

Something that would be really cool is that if you merged 4 or 6 moonpools you could dock your cyclops in your base, instead of just leaving it outside. If they first managed the coding for merging moonpools this may be possible

@Nansen that could work .. I think the devs are already working on a way to dock the Cyclops, something like a docking hatch, I think

@Wiirlak Yeah having a separate docking for the Cyclops would make sense

@Nansen , afterall, having such a big area just for the Cyclops would be a waste of space and energy.
