More types of gloves??? Good idea or garbage?

Subnautica currently has a glove spot on the paper doll. But whats the point when you only have one type of gloves to equip?
I think the glove spot will be a bit out of place if you dont have anything else than radiation gloves.
It feels pointless, if you dont have more than one type of glove you might as well removed that spot on the paper doll, and make the visual effect for the radiation gloves a part of the radiation suit.
If the gloves spot shall succeed, i think the game should have AT LEAST three different types of gloves.

Here are some suggestions!

1. Rubber gloves.
Recipe: silicone rubber ×2
Visual: Plain black rubber gloves
Tooltip: "Basic rubber gloves. Increases your grip"
Buff: Slightly longer item pick-up range

2. Webbed Frog-fin gloves.
Recipe: Rubber gloves ×1 - Fiber mesh ×2 - Fins ×1
Visual: Orange and black stripe like pattern. Kinda matches the A.E.P suit. Gives a Frog like shape to your hand.
Tooltip: "Fins for your hands! Increases mobility"
Buff: Increases mobility speed. (Can be stacked with any type of fins)

Any more suggestions???

Maybe they should just scrap the glove slot, make the prefabs part of the chest piece and add in utility items to put in the open slot.

As mentioned above, the gloves slot seems like it would work better as a general utility slot. Same thing for the helmet as well. One slot for the suit is all we really need.

To keep the gloves alive, they could potentially be classified utility items, with the added bonus of the slot also being available for a wide variety of other things.

They could also add more full body suits like the radiation suit, such as a thermo suit that makes you more resilient to increased or decreased temperatures. The frog glove could be in the modification station and change any glove.

Dev's do plan on adding gloves for the reinforced suit, it was always meant to have them but it slipped past them during it's development and they sort of forgot about it.
