Is this some sound from the Spike Shoother? Or was there previously a sniper in the beta?

there never has and never will be a sniper rifle in NS so I would assume that it is from the spike shooter

btw, I didnt hope that there would be snipers in NS.. omg, what a tought!! it would destroy the game, just as AWP destroyed CS...

Sniping would be hard to accomplish in NS - the environments are too enclosed.

well toggle a scope isn't that hard, just bind a key to it. for your information: there are mouses with more than 2 buttons <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> .

No, with the push of a dedicated button.

It would be easy to toggle the scope on a LMG, it could be added to the list of "Drop Weapon, Reload," etc. Or you could also just bind random keys to switch to a so called "scope mode". A scope would help, sure, since the aliens stand still all the time down long hallways, and your LMG isn't a 'cone of damage', but individual bullets (since that would attract non CS-upberplayers, which is what this game really@*#%)@%

It's already been said in a few of the other 'we want a scope!' threads that the scope on the LMG is for looks alone, part of the model, and will never be implemented as anything beyond looks alone in-game.

Though I'm all for it... reducing Marines' field of vision so I can drop on their heads and scoop out the sweet, sweet brainmeats? Mmmmmmm. Yeah. (/humor)

heh, there are a lot of Marine sounds not used to.. Like one saying "Pickup equipment at waypoint" and such... I WANNA USE THOSE!! and i dont want a sniper, not at all..
