My Game is just broken

So I tried to play my game a few minutes ago and I think the latest update broke my game. I can open the game, but the menu is completely black, save for the options to start the game, change settings, and exit, and the news feed. If I start the game I can move around just fine, but I can't select or use tools. If I open the pause menu, I can't select any options or close out of the menu. Same if I open the PDA/Inventory menu. If I enter a vehicle I can't move anywhere and I can't exit the vehicle. I tried filing a bug report in the game, but I can't do that either. I have yet to try uninstalling and reinstalling yet, but I figured it'd be a good idea to put this here to let the Devs know this is going on.

I have the same issue I've tried to delete the files and every thing and it doesn't change I have black screen with the mouse for subnautica and nothing seems to fix it plz help I love the game like crazy tank you.

Does this also affect new games, or only resumed saved games?

It does effect new games yeah, atleast from my experience.

We've also got a very similar guide with pictures for each step on Steam.
And as in every good tech support:

• Please make sure that your Windows is up to date.
• Please make sure that your drivers are up to date.
• Please make sure your PC meets the minimum system requirements.
• Please close all other applications before starting the game.
• Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I found the output log file, but how do I copy it into paste bin?

Open it in Notepad. Edit > Select All, Edit > Copy
Or, you can just upload the file itself to, say, Dropbox or Google Drive, share it with a sharing link, and post the link here.

Even after the most recent update my game is still completely broken. Even after a what I udnerstand to be a completely fresh install.

The next update will upgrade the Unity engine to 5.6, hopefully that will help all who have unresolved crashing issues *crosses fingers*
