Remember the guy in the trailer? The pointman who got chomped into pieces by a skulk? Yup, thats you. You are the pointman, and your the one to die first. You are the ULTIMATE skulk bait.
.1. The aliens will hear you first, and they will attack the first person they see, in the line of marines, which will be you....you will most likely die.
.2.You job is to distract the first alien that comes along, and try to attack him, you might win, you might loose, you will loose most of the time. You will provide the first shots to warn the rest of the team. In terms you will be saying this without saying it. "ALIEN!! KILL!! NOW!!! AHHH!!!"
For some reason I am always in the front...but I like the job. Its scary sometimes yes, but you provide the team protection and warning.
