purple missing texture problems

help me! i have no idea what's wrong or how to fix this or what caused this, there's just purple squares EVERYWHERE, picture for reference, running most recent experimental version of posting this on recommended settings, so medium, on a GTX 960, 24GB RAM, intel i5 quad core 4550, ona 3TB HDD. i have tried restarting the game, my computer, Nvidia graphics engine, and verified the game files using steam, yet nothing seems to fix this.
