Reapers always glitch through stuff?

in Subnautica Bug Reporting
At the mountains and Aurora they always glitch through the map, under the sand or land mass and end up killing me because of it. Are they supposed to do that it is really annoying?

    Well known bug, reapers and several other large creatures tend to do this. I've seen Ampeels and Crabsquids pulling this ghosting trick between terrain. It's an annoying one seeing how reapears can suddenly pop up below or in front of you without warning.

    Yeah ok wasn't sure as I thought this would be a big bug that they would have fixed by now. The worst I had it was when I got onto the Aurora where the outside landing was and it came up onto the aurora. I had to put in invisible and kill it with a knife to progress lol.
