Game starts in small window and then crashes

I was able to run this game a few months ago (before the oculus update) but now when I try to run it I get a very small window:
It loads for a few seconds, then I am able to hear the menu music. I have left it up for about an hour, thinking that it was loading very slowly, but it doesn't seem to change at all. I have double checked that all of my drivers are up to date and I'm still having this problem. If I have my xbox controller connected when I start the game, the game starts the small window and crashes before the music starts. Is there any way to fix this? Thank for any help.
