Just received Subnautica as a gift yesterday, so this is all on a fresh install. I've followed the troubleshooting guide on Steam and updated all of my drivers, no dice. Game cache verified fine.
I can play the game for around 1-5 minutes before the screen turns black, then white, with the music still playing in the background.
I tried playing the game at a lower resolution and in windowed mode just to see, and when I crash I get the message below.
Considering that I also don't crash if I don't go in the water, I'm assuming my graphics card might not be up to snuff?
Any help or confirmation on my suspicion is appreciated. Thank you so much!
EDIT:
A friend was concerned that maybe my graphics card was overheating, so we looked into that too. He said that 50-55 C isn't too high, but the more information the merrier! You can actually see the crash too.

I myself am on a Quad Core x64 bit processor with 4 gigabytes of ram using an NVIDIA GeForce GT 710 with 2gb GPU ram on windows 7
And the game runs good (Minimum Quality) (Medium Water Quality)
The DxDiag outputs that both Womath and I linked contain our respective specs.
The game runs completely fine on my computer besides the crashing every 1-5 minutes. The frame rate is moderate and the mouse only lags behind just the slightest. I'm playing on minimum/medium, just like you.
I'm sorry I didn't see that I would just like to point out that you and Him are both using AMD GPU's The HD series is considered legacy
1.)I'd suggest checking for any updates in Catalyst as I understand your card should be able to handle it because it is a DX9 game however you are using integrated graphics although womath isn't his is a legacy card as well
2.)you may want to go in steam and right click on subnautica and go to properties then local files and verify the integrity of game

4.)Check you have at least direct x 11 downloaded
