Error validating item key

I was trying to enter the jacksepticeye code left on his latest youtubevideo of subnautica yesterday when the internet cut out mid-validation, hoping to show some support for both his channel and the game we both play.

Now that my internet have finally been restored I receive the following error: keyinvalid (errorA)

I know Jack said there was a limited number of uses but was hoping that there'd been at least some kind of possibility that the key had gone through as the video had been released ca 12 minutes earlier.

Is there anyway to redeem it?

My guess is, with good ol' Jack having so many subs, the key would've been snatched up within mere seconds. 12 minutes is a very long time in internet terms. Did he release the key publicly or was it a contest where you got it in a private email?

Also if you are sure the key is still valid (or not used by someone else), check to see if you're not typing it with capslock on. I dunno what else to say though other than, if it was publicly released it has probably already been used by now. Or shoot of an email regarding this to, subnautica-support@unknownworlds.com

    *sigh*

It was publicly in the description box of the video, and while I know that 12 minutes is quite a long time when it comes to the internet the video still had well below 1,000 views when I was validating the key.

Most likely Subnautica failed to get a response from the servers before the internet shut down, thus ignoring my attempt to redeem the item.

Thanks for the quick response Kouji_San.

No worries :) And yeah I figured as much, you do have to keep in mind that those YouTube views on the counter are a tad bit delayed due to validity checks in their algorithm. My guess is as soon as Jack uploads something, it will almost instantly go to around 5.000 or something behind the scenes and then do the catch up thing for us mere mortals to see
