Hey guys i am B©B and i play subnautica for 2 weeks now ( i know im late )
i'm not new to development games and found a stability issue. Uppon creating a game and you build up in the safe shallows etc slowly explore more and more earea you find the mounten island. With each game that runs for a bit that has acumelated some data once you swim back from the mounten island towards you'r lifepod 5 / home base at the end of the mounten island begins the kelp forrest and thats the moment the game crashes. The Troubleshooting guide was no help for me walked through it step by step but since my pc is only 3 weeks old everthing is nice and upto date. so the search went on to find a solution cause in the mean time 2 friends of mine found out the same issue... eventualy i found the solution clearing the games cache
This helped to stabilize the game but one of my friends had a big problem. His moonpool was suddely haf in to the mounten apperently when you clear your cashe your bas moves a bit.....
I hoped this problem is beeing handled. Or am i missing something? should i have tackled this issue in an other matter?

Have a look in my signature; the cache clearing guide there has better instructions (there are txt files that need clearing, not just the cache folders), and I have added workarounds for issues like those your friend has (at the end of the OP). If you followed that guide instead (IGP put it together) it would not have put dirt in the base, as you skip the areas by the base.

HOWEVER, maybe your base area is also laggy, then you need to clear that too and use the workaround at the end. All of this < ^ makes sense once you see the IGP instructions on how to clear the cache.
