Be able to access your PDA while driving vehicles.

It's such a simple thing, but really it would make the game much more pleasant for the player. Having to hop out of the seamoth or Prawn just to see if you have inventory spaces open is rather silly. Having to be exposed and vulnerable while you read a PDA log you just picked up also seems dumb. It would be rather nice to be able to read your PDA while heading back to base or while heading out on your next "mission".

It could even be an overlay inside of the cockpit instead of just the PDA, give it a futuristic feel. As for movement, just keep whatever the movement was prior to pressing tab. If you're on the surface making a B-line towards a biome in your seamoth, have the ship keep heading straight forward at whatever speed / angle that was as you now navigate the menus with your cursor.

I do agree that you should be able to access your PDA while in a vehicle.

At the very least, a "new" tag that sticks to new pda info until you actually open it up and read it when you find a moment, which is what the chairs in base are for I guess; letting you read new info at your leisure without losing food/water stats.

Problem now though is if you've had a few entries between reviews, you can't tell whats new and whats not, theres no identifier.

The tab to view shortcut is an improvement, but as you say and I agree, being outside and vulnerable just to look at the pda is a bit awkward. Its a pda afterall, I think there is space inside any given cockpit.
