How Do Alien Resources Work?

Hey, I've been playing aliens for quite a while now, but I still don't know how the resources are divided up. Does the team share the resources (likes the marines)? Or does everyone have their own little stash of resources?

the rescoue towers get rescoue which go into a "team rescoue pool" and then from that you get rescoue gorge get the frist cut then the rest of the team the gorge usaly get the most out of cut so that why it wise to have 1 or 2 gorgs
