Water clipping into bottom of the escape pod during escape?????

I have noticed that the escape pod no longer bobs on the surface like it was floating and is basically anchored in place now. the thing is the waves come up into the escape pod now through the floor even in space when escaping
this is when everything is flying around just b4 your knocked out, in the lower left you can see your left hand grabbing the seat bar
this one is when you wake up to the fire
after you get the fire out it is a lot more transparent but still obvious
I also know that the water level clips through the multipurpose room, corridors, and you can see it when looking down through the vertical connector
