We don't need to bash those who are just not good at it but otherwise innocent.
And yes, this should be abusive etc. commanders, not merely bad ones. I am actually lucky in that respect. Many people say I'm really good on my local servers. Odd since I suck majorly at RTS's.
Is it just me, or are 99% of all Marine players totally and fully incompetant?
(If neither side rush succeeds, then the game usually lasts about an hour to two hours, on average)
2 weeks ago 9/10 people I knew didn't know that you could recycle stuff, and now this guy comes into the game and "accidentily" sells turret factory, both spawn points, the armory, gets out of the command chait and when I say we have a **obscenity** commander he says that we had a **obscenity** commander cause hes out of the chair, after that I get in the command chair but theres an alien attacking it after a few minutes, I managed to build up everything that was lost but right after I killed the alien the same guy jumps in the chair and sells everything again!
I'm sorry if i'm wrong(for their sake not mine)
But if you're dumb enough to do something like that twice and not notice your team mates confusion and anger you deserve to be taking into the proverbial woods and shot

So very well said.
Just becuase you didn't get your health pack once or twice does not mean they arn't a good commander. Everyone has to learn, everyone has to start somewhere, no need to bash them becuase of that.
You may be surprised.
If you've been a commander a few times before, you may have some validity to your name-dropping, but like some people said above, this really should be an abusive or mean commander thread.

I can't remember a comm who knew what to do, and was 'bad'.
Though maybe he just needs more practice.
but the rest... they are just learning.... i bet that half of the guys that posted bad comms are bad comms themselves... =P
Actually they are. Or at least they were. It seems to get better. In the last few games i played they could at least aim.
On the other side the alien players seem to get worse and worse. Maybe all the former marine players now try out aliens :o). And worst of all they all go gorge. Or, second most effective way of wasting resources, they go lerk with only 1 hive up.
