Scanning predators/dangerous things

So I've successfully scanned

• stalker
• bone shark
• mesmer
• biter
• bleeder
• cave crawler

I've tried to scan the bone shark, but no dice yet,
what other predators can/can't be scanned
(especially the reaper, before I go try to scan him/her)
